The CO2RE laser uses the most advanced laser technology that gently treats the damage caused by sun and time. The CO2RE is a fractional deep laser resurfacing treatment that removes layers of skin tissue in a method where columns of skin are removed, leaving the skin surrounding each column intact to aid in healing.
CO2RE reduces age spots, freckles, liver spots, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, skin laxity, textural irregularities, dull tone, and a thinned collagen layer of the face, neck, and chest. CO2 does require time to heal, usually 7-14 days.

How Does CO2RE Work?
The skin contracts and tightens as the laser vaporizes the water in the tissue. The heat penetrates into the skin no deeper than half the thickness of a human hair. The old skin is then wiped away, leaving the new skin underneath to develop and regenerate. The laser also tightens and shrinks the collagen in the skin. Collagen, directly beneath the epidermis, gives the skin firmness and helps keep it youthful looking. The laser helps stimulate collagen regrowth.
What Can I Expect from Treatment?
Patients may pinpoint a specific area for treatment such as around their eyes or mouth, or choose the full-face option for the most dramatic difference. The actual laser surgery time takes between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours and may be performed with topical and local anesthesia.
What To Expect With CO2RE?
Like any type of deep peel, the laser removes protective layers of the skin creating a wound similar to a severe burn, which takes approximately ten to fourteen days to heal. Redness of the skin may persist for weeks to months following surgery. During the first several weeks, patients should avoid the sun and keep their faces covered with a healing ointment, i.e., Aquaphor. The skin will stay pink for a few weeks. The pink color is covered up easily with make-up. Make-up may be applied within two weeks after treatment.
Because laser resurfacing is an in-office procedure, it is minimally invasive which means you may return to work or your normal activities usually within one week after treatment. Today, the CO2 laser has been perfected to correct numerous skin imperfections. Known as laser skin resurfacing, the CO2 laser is revolutionizing skin care and wrinkle treatment for sun-damaged skin, which is good news for past and present sun worshipers.

I highly recommend Totality specifically the Downtown location! It is always so refreshing walking into a place filled with people that all truly care about you. I have been using Obagi Nu Derm RX products prescribed by a doctor many years back from UAE and I never needed a prescription after that. I have been buying them every year when I travel . This year I couldn’t travel and I thought that Obagi FX would control my pigmentation but it didn’t work. My melasma is back and my skin started to look so dull with an uneven skin tone which is making me look ugly :((. Canada doesn’t sell RX system . If I want to buy the product online then I need a prescription and to find an online physician …in short very disappointed.
